Juno Musonda

Juno Musonda is the founder of Ope Outdoors, an apparel company based in St. Louis that celebrates and promotes exploration of Midwestern state parks. Balancing a full-time role in quality control at Anheuser-Busch, Musonda launched Ope Outdoors in 2020 after identifying a gap in apparel representing Missouri’s natural spaces. His eco-friendly brand features nostalgic designs of iconic parks, such as Castlewood and Elephant Rocks, while also fostering community engagement through group hikes and park cleanups. Born in Zambia and raised in St. Louis, Musonda brings a love for the outdoors and creativity to his business, which aims to inspire Midwesterners to appreciate and preserve their local parks. In addition to running Ope Outdoors, Musonda manages all aspects of the company, from designing the apparel to organizing pop-up shops around town.
