Dr. Linda X. Wu, DO, MBA is the co-founder and CEO of MiDoc Inc., a medical device startup that taps into the third dimension of telehealth, the physical exam. Dr. Wu started out as a human factors engineer before pursuing medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed a pediatric residency at Emory University in Atlanta. Her passion for healthcare entrepreneurship led her to study an MBA at WashU Olin Business School. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine and works as a pediatrician at Washington University / St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She also teaches healthcare innovation at both the medical and business schools.Dr. Wu’s passion for advancing patient care led her to found MiDoc, an at-home remote heart and lung physical exam device to be used in conjunction with telemedicine. By allowing patients the comfort of staying at home yet providing the diagnostic tool of an exam to physicians, MiDoc allows for improved diagnostic accuracy, healthcare access, convenience, and affordability. Dr. Wu grew up in four countries and has lived in 15+ cities.
