Rene Canady

Rene Canady is CEO of ES Biodesign Consulting, where she brings a design justice lens to MedTech development, helping teams avoid costly failures by addressing the social, ecological, and financial impacts of their products. With a background in bioengineering and sociology, she also researches fair bioengineering practices and co-hosts Joint Highpothesis, exploring cannabis through a Black feminist technoscience lens. Rene is passionate about Black health, community wellness, and equitable innovation.
